My sweet baby girl can now fit in to her dress made by Sunshine Created that matches her big sister's.  My five year old seriously adores her baby sister. I love these two girlies so much!

Queen Anne's Lace

I have been admiring all the Queen Anne's Lace growing in the fields and ditches this summer.  I had been wanting to take pictures of this one field in particular.  So, one evening I was going in to town with Ella and grabbed my camera so we could stop and get some pictures.  When we got to the place I had been wanting to go for weeks I found they had just mowed it all down.  There was still some of it left, but we had to troop through the sharp, cut grass to get to where they were.  Then we took the pictures and then we did a tick check because that's what you have to do here in good old West Virginia! :)  Anyways, I was happy I got some pictures of them before they're all gone.

So, I do realize these flowers aren't Queen Anne's Lace, but Ella liked them too!

I love watching these two together.  The way the little one adores his big brother and the way the older one dotes on him. (at least most of the time :))  They are buddies!

We love this little guy SO much!!  I am so thankful I've gotten to see this sweet little dimpled face every day for the past two years. :)  He totally hammed it up for the camera the other night.

Ten Years Old

I still find it hard to believe my oldest is now ten years old!  I mean there's just something about that number that made it a little harder than normal birthday on his mother!  I love watching my kids grow up, but at the same time I sometimes wish to freeze time.  As much as these days are really crazy with lots of little ones, we are all together, every single day, and I love it that way. (well, at least most moments, believe me I have plenty of moments that I need a break from all those littles!)  Anyways, I'm trusting the Lord will give grace for each stage from the littles to now a kiddo in double digits!
So, Josiah is a serious book worm.  He read almost 100 books in a little over six weeks for the library challenge this summer.  Now about twenty of those were short books he read to his younger siblings, but still, the kid loves to read!  These old books that Tj has found second hand different places are some of his favorites.  He's read them over and over and so I thought it would be fun to include them in his photo shoot.
Looking back over these pictures I'm thinking he looks too grown up and serious in all of them.  I mean he still is a fun, silly boy and I should have gotten some of those pictures too.  But for the time he was all business.  Well, except for the time he was wanting to stand on top of one of the walls for pictures, but mom vetoed that.  He's probably thinking let's just get this over with. :)
